By participating on this platform, sellers agree to adhere to the standardized shipping practices outlined below to ensure a seamless and trustworthy experience for buyers.
1.2 Shipping Regions
- Domestic Shipping: Available across Singapore.
- International Shipping: Optional and must be clearly stated by the seller. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import restrictions unless otherwise noted.
1.3 Shipping Timeframes
- Processing Time: Sellers must process and dispatch orders within 5 to 7 business days from the order date unless a different timeframe is indicated in the product listing.
- Delivery Time: Standard delivery in Singapore should occur within 10 to 14 business days. International delivery durations vary based on destination and courier.
1.4 Shipping Methods
Sellers may use any trusted courier service (e.g., SingPost, Ninja Van, J&T Express, etc.). All orders must include a valid tracking number, which must be updated in the seller dashboard on CuraSelects.
1.5 Shipping Fees
- Sellers set and display their own shipping fees.
- Free shipping is encouraged for promotional advantage but remains at the seller's discretion.
- Combined shipping is optional and must be disclosed in product listings.
1.6 Undelivered or Lost Parcels
If a parcel is lost or undeliverable due to seller error or courier issues:
- A full refund must be issued to the buyer unless the loss was caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the buyer.
- Sellers must assist in resolving courier disputes promptly.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be requested under the following conditions:
- The item was not received within the promised delivery window.
- The item was defective, damaged, incorrect, or significantly not as described.
2.2 Refund Request Process
- Buyers must file a refund request via their CuraSelects account within 7 days of delivery, or 10 days after the expected delivery date if the item was not received.
- Sellers will be notified and must respond within 3 business days.
- If a resolution is not reached, CuraSelects will intervene and make a final decision.
2.3 Refund Outcomes
- Full Refund: Issued when the buyer's claim is validated.
- Partial Refund: Issued if only a portion of the order is affected.
- Denied Refund: If insufficient evidence is provided or the claim is unfounded.
2.4 Seller Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to refund requests.
- Cooperate with the buyer and CuraSelects in any disputes.
- Process approved refunds via their seller dashboard within 5 business days.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Buyer-Initiated Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before the seller updates the status to “Shipped.”
- Once shipped, the order must be returned for a refund using the applicable process.
3.2 Seller-Initiated Cancellations
Permissible reasons for seller cancellations include:
- Stock unavailability.
- Listing errors (e.g., incorrect pricing).
- Detection of suspicious activity.
In such cases, the seller must:
- Notify the buyer.
- Issue a full refund within 2 business days.
- Update the cancellation status in their dashboard.
3.3 Operator-Initiated Cancellations
CuraSelects may cancel orders at its discretion in the following circumstances:
- Policy violations or listing misconduct.
- Seller inaction or unresponsiveness.
- Suspected fraud or illegal product/service.
Refunds will be processed directly to the buyer by CuraSelects in these instances.
4. Dispute Resolution & Support
All disputes must be raised through the CuraSelects Help Support.
4.1 Dispute Resolution Process:
- Buyer or seller submits a support ticket via the CuraSelects Help Support.
- Both parties must submit relevant documentation (e.g., tracking numbers, photos, correspondence).
- CuraSelects will investigate and issue a final decision within 7–10 business days.
CuraSelects' resolution is binding for all parties.
5. General Terms and Conditions
By using CuraSelects.com, users agree to the following:
- Legal Compliance: All users must comply with Singapore’s applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Accurate Representation: Listings must truthfully describe products or services. Misleading or fraudulent content is strictly prohibited.
- Privacy: Sellers and buyers must respect user confidentiality and handle personal data responsibly.
CuraSelects reserves the right to modify these policies without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on the platform and apply immediately upon publication.
6. Terms & Conditions for Services Transacted on CuraSelects
CuraSelects enables the sale of services such as therapy sessions, wellness classes, virtual consultations, home visits, educational workshops and etc.
6.1 Nature of Services
- Services may be delivered in-person, online, or as digital content.
- All service details — including scope, location, delivery method, timing, and participant requirements — must be fully disclosed in the service listing.
6.2 Booking & Confirmation
- Buyers will receive confirmation upon successful booking and payment.
- Sellers must respond within 3 business days of booking (unless automated).
- Any rescheduling or preparation instructions must be communicated clearly and promptly.
6.3 Service Quality and Standards
- All services must be rendered professionally, as advertised.
- Sellers are solely responsible for holding valid certifications, licenses, or qualifications, particularly for regulated services (e.g., Traditional Chinese Medicine, Physiotherapy).
- Non-compliance or buyer complaints may result in suspension or penalties.
6.4 Refunds & Rescheduling for Services
Buyers are eligible for a refund or reschedule if:
- The provider fails to deliver or is late without notice.
- The buyer cancels at least 24 hours before the service.
- The service is not as described or causes harm.
Refunds are not available for no-shows unless the seller allows otherwise. Requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the issue using CuraSelects' support portal.
6.5 Digital Services
- Services such as downloads, courses, or subscriptions are considered “delivered” once accessed.
- Refunds are only granted for:
- Corrupted or inaccessible content.
- Listings proven to be misleading.
6.6 Liability Disclaimer
- CuraSelects acts as a neutral facilitator and is not responsible for the execution, safety, or legality of any services.
- All transactions are made directly between the buyer and seller. However, CuraSelects reserves the right to step in if policy violations occur.
